On 3.3.10 Wild Bunch made history. We joined forces
with the charity Respond to hold a protest outside
the Headquarters of Ofcom (the TV regulator).
Wild
Bunch Committee members handed in a letter telling
Ofcom that it was not OK to allow Channel 4 to
use the word 'retard'.... Two months later Ofcom
agreed with us and ruled that the ‘R-word’
is offensive. Result!
