The houses

The house in Coleridge road has 4 self contained unfurnished one-bedroom flats.

The house in Yonge Park has 6 furnished bed sits with a shared living room, kitchen and bathrooms.

Support

The supported housing manager will help you arrange your housing benefit and find other people to help you if you have any problems, for example social workers, psychiatrist etc. He also supervises the support tenants.

Support tenants do not have learning disability but share the house with the tenants

They provide some support for tenants and they can be called on an emergency.

Regular house meetings in both houses are held to discuss any problems in the house, to keep tenants informed about any changes that are going to happen or to hear any ideas or suggestions that tenants have.

Moving on from Supported Housing

The supported housing project manager can recommend you for a move on if you are ready. The supported housing manager will help you prepare for this.
