The Basic Education scheme runs classes for people with moderate learning difficulties who want to develop their reading, writing, number and practical basic skills, at 'ES Foundation/1st Stage, '2nd Stage' or '3rd Stage'.

The courses aim to enable students to gain more independence in their everyday lives and to progress onto further courses here or elsewhere. Courses are free and run from October 2008 to July 2009. The scheme has wheelchair access.
